lasers

Visible lasers aren't great in daylight. Better if firing into shaded areas, dark areas, etc. No matter the color. I use the laser 90 % + at night when killing armadillos. Pretty sure I have the same as you in a drawer somewhere but the ones on my carry and on my 15-22 are Crimson Trace . Red on the pistol and green on the carbine. "They" say green is "better" for the human eye. Not sure about that. I find if using a green beam beyond a couple of minutes, it's a bit distracting. Too bright so to speak as compared to the "softer" red laser. If the laser is really dialed in for the maximum range you choose, I find it the only way to fly. Very little target acquisition in the conventional sense. Put the dot on the target and let her rip. Great for follow ups as well. On the .22 I have it at 40 m and the pistol at 12 m. Hard sights on the Sig and 2x prism on the carbine.
