Tonight’s Factor - Smoky Gouda Macaroni & Shredded Beef with Toasted Garlic Green Beans:

This one has a higher carb count at 33 net carbs but I thought it would be a nice change. I was wrong.
The shredded beef was okay but a little bland. The Gouda macaroni was almost tasteless and the pasta undercooked. I added some Teriyaki sauce and Texas Pete. That helped but not much. Even with the additions it was still mostly bland and the pasta too chewy. The beans were also undercooked but reasonably tasty with added butter. I only ate about half of this meal. I marked this one a NO!

I sauteed some minced garlic and onion in olive oil and grated some pecorino Romano for roasted string beans.
Bought a lb of snapper and will put the curry/salt/pepper and lime mayonnaise blend on top of that before putting it in the oven.

I’ve been trying FlavCity protein shakes, just add milk (or water) shake & their you go

Low calories, low sugar/carbs and not to shabby

I’m a fan of Milk, so always use ice cold milk & it’s not a “shake” but little thicker than milk with a decent flavor and it does not spike my blood sugar

Will do one for breakfast and one for lunch and dinner as normal with the wife

I also drink about 64oz of water a day, trying to keep my kidneys healthy

Hardest part for me is the munchies, get bored and want to munch

Vanilla, chocolate and berries and cream are my favorites

Today’s Factor - Creamy Dijon Pork Tenderloin:

The pork was tender and mostly juicy. The mash was tolerable. The cauliflower was properly cooked but tasted like it had been soaked in vinegar despite the butter I added. I marked this one MAYBE.

Tonight’s Factor - Pot Roast Shredded Beef & mash with Broccoli & Carrots:

The beef was tender and tasty with the gravy. The mash was the usual mash. The gravy made it better. The veggies were good but, as usual, not enough of them. I marked this one YES!

4 hard boiled eggs, 1 cup of the protein powder and 1 cup of cottage cheese

Just took night pills with a cup of protein powder with 2 hard boiled eggs

I need to start eating more eggs. My friend John brings me fresh eggs from his chickens. They haven't been washed so they last a lot longer in the fridge than store bought. The yolks are a darker, brighter yellow too.

Farm fresh eggs are wonderful, so much better tasting

I’ve gotten lazy, Sams club had a bag of 12 packs of 2 hard boiled & pealed eggs, so I have these to munch on & will cook sunny side up eggs if I’m feeling fancy
