Click the U and it filters to all military aircraft. It has gotten to be a pain in the ass with ads though.(03-31-2026, 12:21 AM)MontanaLon Wrote: Not a drill, this is real world. Another interesting thing, they have been flying Global Hawks along the Mexico border pretty much non-stop for the last few days. They may have been doing it all along but they are doing it in the open now. Watched a Huey and it’s replacement (forget what it’s called) fly over the house and proceeded to land at the AF base (only a helo port, no runway) and according to ADSB they were both Blackhawk helicopters 🤣🤣🤣 RE: Force Protection Condition Change - MontanaLon - 04-03-2026 (04-01-2026, 10:11 PM)Rampy Wrote:(04-01-2026, 12:13 AM)MontanaLon Wrote:(03-31-2026, 02:28 AM)Rampy Wrote:You can track them on ADSB as long as they are using their transponder. https://globe.adsbexchange.com/ up in the right corner you will see a U next to H and T. The ADSB unit gets pulled from one put on the shelf and eventually gets put into another chopper and then gets pulled off the shelf and stuck in another chopper of a different type and isn't reprogrammed right away. Heard a Chinook flying over town and my youngest looked it up on his phone and said it was a Blackhawk on ADSB. I bet him it was a Chinook and then we went out on the porch to watch it fly over. It was a Chinook in the sky but a Blackhawk on ADSB. He will forever know the difference in sound that a Chinook makes vs a Blackhawk. |
