The hits just keep on coming!
A few days after we lost Pumpkinhead we had to take Houdini into the vet. She’s the one we almost lost last year. She has: 1. Chronic Enteropathy & 2. Hepatic Lipidosis (Suspected). It’s been under good control up to now. She got worse and they’re not sure what’s causing it. They gave her some more meds and she’s doing better but not 100% yet. As if that wasn’t enough, we’re going to have to take our big tabby Pumpkin to the vet asap! He’s not eaten in 2 days, he’s not as active as normal and we haven’t seen him poop. We think he may have an intestinal blockage. I’m waiting to hear back from the vet as to when she can see him.

Flash is the one we lost to a bad reaction to sedation last year.

Pumpkin is okay! They did x-rays and blood work and could not find anything wrong. He's back home and acting like his old self again. Better safe than sorry.

I guess I'm a little paranoid now when it comes to my cats health. Better safe than sorry. Or, to be more accurate, better broke than to lose another one!
