When asked why I told them straight up we have the right to not sell a firearm to anyone for any reason and we could be held liable if we sold someone a gun who later used it to commit a crime if we had reason to believe that person was unfit to buy a firearm and last I checked being severely mentally ill was a disqualification. And while the left says trans people are perfectly sane, a trial lawyer is going to get it introduced into evidence that a trans person is mentally ill and get a huge lawsuit win against the company and possibly them individually. Why individually? Because when I took the stand I would tell the truth and the truth was I told everyone, way over 120 people that it was policy not to sell firearms to people that were clearly mentally ill and I didn't know why the employee would do so. I looked over every 4473 and never saw one that had "non-binary" checked. I even ran it past the lawyers and they agreed with me when I put it in a better frame. If someone came in and told me they wanted a gun so they could shoot a body part off that made them unhappy or even talked about cutting off one of their own or someone else's body parts to improve their feelings, I would be 100% justified in denying them the purchase. I have yet to see any evidence that I was wrong in my judgement. Not one single piece. They are ducked in the head severely.
