New Uniden Scanner

Locally here, the SO has gone to using cell phones for dispatch more than radio. Scanner doesn't help with that.

Here it’s over the radio or on MDT and I assume cell phone 

Im more interested in ambulance & fire, accidents, road closures, what’s happening on the interstate with the highway plows (interstate 80 and 25/90 was closed Friday due to blizzards & blowing snow/icy roads) 

when fire/ems stages for law enforcement 

And aircraft, lots of air traffic here due to altitude & high altitude training 

it might be interesting when traveling if we can get a head up on traffic jams, accidents and such along with severe weather 

ya I struggling trying to justify it
