So I hate how little rail I’ve got & with my physical limitations need something to hang the left hand on

However, this places my hand way to close to the muzzle (silver can is a plan B blast cage covering the muzzle brake)

Since it’s a pistol I’m limited to hand stops & looking for something that gives me more hand clearance and safety

Ideas??

I took my 10.5" blackout to the range today with 110 gr vmax on top of 20.2 grs h110. Four shots without the suppressor followed by 10 with it. The suppressor moved the poi 2" left and 2"down at 50 yards. This is the first time I've shot an ar with a suppressor. Boy does that make them dirty, the remaining rounds in the magazine were filthy!
Before I quit I fed it a subsonic round. For some reason that locked it up, the empty is still in the chamber with the bolt closed. I'll deal with that later.

Background: I have a pistol in 450 Bushmaster (last year I harvested a doe at 100 yards, very impressed), and also one in 350 Legend (my son uses it and has filled several tags with it). I wanted something not deer hunting (Iowa is a ‘straight wall’ state) and Rampy told me to build .300 BO, as it’s ideally suited for shorter barrels, so I have that one. I have the parts for a 9mm PCC that won’t be a C, I guess.

I really want a 223/5.56. How short can I go before there’s no need to bother with it? 223/5.56 isn’t a pistol load, but people do it. I want the shortest reasonable barrel?

Short version: is a T2 buffer appropriate for a 10.5” AR Bushy pistol?

Back story: I have a 450 Bushmaster pistol upper and a 350 Legend pistol upper. (Iowa allows pistols during the late muzzleloader season, AR pistols included.) Both pistols have taken deer. But I only have two lowers, one of which is on a 300AAC in the bedroom wall safe. During deer season, the AAC loses its lower- not ideal. So I’m building another dedicated lower for the deer pistols. I have been running both deer pistols with standard buffers, but when I went to scavenge parts for the new lower, I discovered a pistol buffer/tube that I never used with a T2 buffer (Spike’s Tactical). So, do I build the lower with the T2 buffer for the Bushy, or the 350 L, or put the T2 away again and run two standard buffers? I’ve seen that 350 L likes a slightly heavier buffer but what about the Bushy?
