Kenwood MC-60A Desk Microphones provide a rich and crisp audio response that is a large part of the legendary sound that Kenwood transceiver owners have enjoyed for decades.
MC-60A microphones have a handy coiled cord terminated with a standard 8-pin round mic connector for use on dozens of modern Kenwood transceivers.
They also feature a large Push-To-Talk switch (PTT) with a locking button for long transmissions in the roundtable.
Classically crafted and finished in a light-ash hue with black trim, MC-60A dynamic unidirectional microphones are built with a heavy die-cast base that really stays put. Up-Down tuning buttons on the base controls frequency on many newer radios and a dual impedance switch on the mic body allows them to be adapted for use on older transceivers. As delivered, they are set to low impedance.
Many long term users aren't aware that MC-60A Desk Mics have a built-in preamp that is powered by two internal AA batteries. This is a great feature for some of the older transceivers. In fact, these mics have a great smooth sound when the preamp switch is set to "Off", or when they're used without batteries. This is especially true on the newer radios, such as the TS-2000 series, with excellent mic input circuits that do not need pre-amplified audio.
MC-60A microphones are compatible with many modern and legacy Kenwood (and other-brand) transceivers, including mobile transceivers with RJ-45 8-pin modular mic connectors when used with the optional Kenwood MJ-88 8-pin round to 8-pin modular adapter.

Overview
Microphone Type: Amateur/Standard
Microphone Element: Single
Microphone Element Type: Dynamic
Microphone Connector Type: 8-pin round, female
Yaesu FTM-6000R 50W 144/430MHz Dual Band FM Mobile Transceivers are basic yet feature-packed, delivering reliable and stable 50W transmit performance. The heavy-duty heat sink is equipped with FACC (Funnel Air-Convection Conductor). The speaker delivers 3W of clear and crisp receive audio which has been specifically tuned for radio communication. The easy-to-read, large-character monochrome display front panel is detachable and can be mounted at the most desirable operating position. The FTM-6000R supports Bluetooth wireless operation with the optional BU-4 plug-in module and optional SSM-BT10 headset or a compatible, commercially available Bluetooth headset.

Employing a new user operating interface called E2O-III (Easy to Operate – III), the FTM-6000R provides three user-intuitive operating modes to assign functions and settings. The most frequently used function can be registered to, and then recalled with a single touch, of the F1 key. Other frequently used functions can be assigned to a Function List and then recalled by simply pressing the "F Menu" key and rotating the dial. All functions and items other than those registered to "Most frequently" or "Other frequently" are selectable by pressing and holding the "F Menu" key and rotating the dial.
I bought this in Dec. 2020. My AO has a ton of RFI. I couldn’t find a good spot to put the 2nd antenna within easy coax reach of my shack so I never used it. Instead, I put chokes on everything and upgraded to a Yaesu FT-1000. I paid $189.95 in 2020 and the current price is $239.95.

I’m asking $140.00 plus shipping. CAT NOT INCLUDED!

Wipe out Noise and Interference!

Place a null up to 60dB deep on any type of noise

Plug your station antenna into the MFJ-1026 and your antenna system turns into a directional receiving array! You can place a null up to 60dB deep on any type of noise and interference arriving from any single direction and wave angle.

Wipe out interference and noise before it gets into your receiver!

It works on all modes -- SSB, AM, CW, FM and frequencies from 1.5 to 30 MHz
You can instantly change from nulling to peaking a signal at a push of a button and improve weak signal reception!

Wipe out all types of Noise ... lightning crashes from distant thunderstorms, severe power line noise from arcing transformers and insulators, lamp dimmers, touch controlled lamps, electric drills, motors, industry process, TV birdies...

Strong local ham overloading your sensitive receiver?

Cant copy your QSO? Cast a deep null on him and literally take him out -- you wont even know he's there. You can dig out a weak station hidden under a powerful one on the same frequency!

Null out your local AM broadcast station. Underneath, you might find an exotic distant station on an island you've never heard of.

Works on SSB, AM, CW, FM, RTTY, SSTV, Packet and Pactor -- all modes.
It works on all frequencies from 1.5 to 30 MHz, including all MF and HF amateur bands and shortwave broadcast.

Interference much stronger than the desired signal can be completely removed without affecting the desired signal. Prevent overload by canceling noise before it gets into your sensitive receiver.

The MFJ-1025 is effective with all types of interference on all modes.

Signals can be peaked or nulled. The MFJ-1025 and your antenna can electrically "rotate the array" while the antennas remain physically stationary ... adjust both direction and wave angle of null or peak.... change from nulling to peaking with the push of a button... ignore mutual coupling effects as phase and level are adjusted.

Use the MFJ-1026 as an adjustable phasing network. You can combine two antennas to give you various directional patterns and improve receiving signal levels.
Examples... two verticals become steerable array... your beverage and your transmitting antenna can enhance weak signals...two parallel staggered Beverage antennas can improve front-to-back ratio or steer nulls.

Connects between transmitting antenna and transceiver. To null, adjust amplitude and phase controls for minimum S-Meter reading or lowest noise. To Peak, push reverse button. use built-in active antenna or an external one. Has near constant amplitude phase control.

RF sense T/R switch bypasses your transceiver when you transmit. Adjustable delay time. Use external antenna to null or peak signals.
