But minus a thyroid gland, if the hospital food does not kill me……thyroid was bad, all benign but almost had to crack my chest to get it out, lots of digging & moving pieces parts around to get everything out

It’s thought agent orange dioxins had a large part to play

Glad to know you're alive and headed for recovery. If that's hospital food, it looks better than anything I ever got in a hospital.

Glad to hear you are still around. The hospital food doesn't look terrible.

Food is horrible. Hard to gag down, worse than a Marine chow hall, field kitchen or first generation MRE’s

Wife brought 2 cold McMuffin’s and they were glorious

Home now, Have been talking Vicodin the VA gave me for the back & trying to save that and only take Tylenol

The hospital was giving narcotics every 8 hours but none upon discharge

Very horse but who needs a voice, I’m home and preparing for a glorious birthday celebration, local raised pig’s ribs on the pellet smoker and baked beans on the pellet smoker

Won’t be going anywhere, stitches come out next week & no shooting for a month or lifting anything over 6 pounds for 3 weeks
