I gotta go get another needle stabbed in my right eye today.  Life just gets more fun ever day.

my mistake, the arm surgeries will happen after we get home. I’m not worried about me right now, have something else going on
more important than my old ass

Good morning! Yesterday was a squirrel carrying a shiny object day so today I'll do the snow blowers. I know squat about plows so the boss says don't touch, he has a guy that takes care of them, evidently springs need to be adjusted just right.

A very nice morning here, 41° headed to 60°, no rain. We did get 1/8" yesterday, not sure if that actually qualifies as rain but better than nothing.
Headed to the e-bike store a little later, I've decided on this model: https://www.mokwheel.com/products/basalt-st-2-0-s
I'll probably have to order it and wait a bit, two weeks ago they only had one and it was being prepped for another customer.

Good morning! I do believe summer is over, mid 30s headed for 50 today. Ene wind before dawn feels like 15-20mph.
Picked up my e-bike Friday, installed a couple of the accessories and gave it a try. Fairly level gravel road and the pasture. Before I got it I wished it was faster, 20mph to satisfy the state, programmable to 30. Oh hell no! 20 is almost too fast to spot mushrooms and off the gravel,I have to stand up at 5mph because of no rear suspension. I did set it for 30 but most likely that'll be on the paved streets only. The accessories pack included a "universal fit" helmet. Looks like I'll have to search for a brain bucket that fits, I've got a large head, finding helmets, hats, and sunglasses that fit me has always been problematic.
I was pleasantly surprised by the pedal assist, figured I'd mostly use the throttle only. About 1/3 rotation and it kicks in and then pedaling takes much less effort. Good for battery life and maybe get a little exercise too.
I'm house sitting for the boss while he's in Israel, 10 days. His black lab is such a help in the kitchen!
