[FPC News] FPC Announces End to Pennsylvania “Partially Manufactured Receiver” G

<p><strong>HARRISBURG, PA </strong><span style="font-weight: 400;">(April 27,</span><span style="font-weight: 400;"> 2026) —</span> <span style="font-weight: 400;">Firearms Policy Coalition (FPC) announced today that after more than six years of litigation, FPC has secured </span><a href="https://assets.nationbuilder.com/firearmspolicycoalition/pages/5483/attachments/original/1772823713/2026.02.23_Stipulation.pdf?1772823713"><span style="font-weight: 400;">a settlement with the Pennsylvania State Police (PSP) that resulted in the permanent revocation of the agency’s policy</span></a><span style="font-weight: 400;"> regarding “partially manufactured” firearm receivers. The PSP’s policy was imposed along with a December 16, 2019 opinion by then-Attorney General (now-Governor) Josh Shapiro. FPC secured a preliminary injunction against the policy in January 2020, blocking its enforcement, which has been in effect since and has protected Pennsylvania gun owners and lawful businesses.</span></p>

So this teacher of the year from California managed to book a room where the Whitehouse correspondents dinner was held? I'm pretty sure that's not easy to do.

He was able to get there with a long arm and hand gun. If he owned them prior to traveling and drove to DC that's certainly doable. If he flew they could be taken in checked baggage. If he obtained them after arrival, that's not as simple as it used to be. By now almost everybody is aware of the rules regarding private sales to non residents. That leaves black market sales. It would seem to me that you'd have to know somebody....
I'm pretty sure this wasn't a lone wolf attack.
