Over at citizen Free Press he has x links to long lines at numerous polling locations, it's amazing, especially this early in the morning.
Maybe this will be more than a landslide?
With all the early voting and now long lines at polling locations there certainly is a lot of enthusiasm this year.
I'll probably post often in US politics today/ tomorrow, I can't help myself, I'm a political junkie.
They're doing a deep dive on Harris and Trump. So far, I've learned that Kamala fought for the little people since she was 15.
President Trump on the other hand, fought for himself and beat the courts by his shear willpower. Anyway, he's a scoundrel and Harris should be canonized. I'm almost regretting my vote.
I haven't felt like cooking so the chuck roast just sat in the fridge along with the vegetables. Today is the sell by date so I got off my kiester and went to work on it.
It took me an hour to dredge/brown the chuck as well as peel the vegetables.
So now the rutabagas/parsnips/carrots/celery and onions are happily simmering with the beef. I thought about throwing the jalapenos I had in the fridge in, but my neighbor Lynn is allergic to all peppers so I didn't since this 10" dutch oven full of stew is way too much for me.
I do love a beef stew, especially with lots of parsnips!

SAVANNAH, GA (November 1, 2024) – Today, Firearms Policy Coalition (FPC) announced that charges have been dropped against its member, Mr. Deacon Morris, following an FPC-backed defense against the charges that included an affirmative attack on Savannah, Georgia’s gun control ordinance. In the case, the government had been criminally prosecuting Mr. Morris for violating the city’s gun storage ordinance despite Georgia’s firearm preemption law that makes the city’s ordinance invalid. FPC’s defense of Mr. Morris was a parallel action to its Belt v. Savannah case, a civil lawsuit challenging the same ordinance.
