[FPC News] FPC Statement on “Horrifically Flawed” DOJ Brief in Machine Gun Ban P
<p><strong>NEW ORLEANS </strong><span style="font-weight: 400;">(Apri</span><span style="font-weight: 400;">l 24, </span><span style="font-weight: 400;">2025) – Firearms Policy Coalition (FPC) responded today to the </span><a href="https://assets.nationbuilder.com/firearmspolicycoalition/pages/191/attachments/original/1745532301/United_States_v_Brown_Brief_of_Appellant.pdf?1745532301"><span style="font-weight: 400;">opening brief</span></a><span style="font-weight: 400;"> filed by the federal government at the Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals in the case of </span><em><span style="font-weight: 400;">United States v. Brown</span></em><span style="font-weight: 400;">. In </span><em><span style="font-weight: 400;">Brown</span></em><span style="font-weight: 400;">, the government charged the defendant for violating 18 U.S.C. § </span><a href="https://www.law.cornell.edu/uscode/text/18/922"><span style="font-weight: 400;">922</span></a><span style="font-weight: 400;">(o). The district court </span><a href="https://storage.courtlistener.com/recap/gov.uscourts.mssd.123238/gov.uscourts.mssd.123238.28.0.pdf"><span style="font-weight: 400;">dismissed</span></a><span style="font-weight: 400;"> the charge against Brown earlier this year, holding that the ban violates the Second Amendment as applied to him. The government then appealed to the Fifth Circuit.</span></p>
I picked up a half lb of belgioioso parmesan and grated some to put on a seafood casserole. I tasted it and it ls the best I've ever tasted!
Here's the recipe I used, with a few changes. Imitation crab instead of real crab, sour cream instead of milk, then I added canned clams and frozen peas. I'll edit this after it's done and report on the finished product.
