Ham and Lima beans help. please.

[Rampy]

After looking at recipes for crockpot Lima beans I'm not seeing any that use celery.  My mind tells me I should use a stalk or two of celery as well as some grated carrot.  Am I trying to screw a pot of ham and Lima beans up?

Recipes are guides ment to be bent and twisted to fit your desired outcome

Except baking, you can’t screw with baking recipes
