I have buckets of my own ‘picked up’ brass mixed with range pickups. For my first go-around with 10 mm I want to use new brass, so I bought Starline, since that’s what they had at Scheel’s (the Hornady brass was out of stock).

Do I need to prep brand new Starline brass? Size? Trim? Or just stuff the load?

I have Hornady 155 gr XTP bullets. I’m thinking 10.8 gr of HS-6 (but I also have Power Pistol).

Suggestions? Does new brass need to be ‘prepped’?

I tried a suppressor on a 6.5 Grendel the other day. I knew it would be dirtier but had no idea how much so. One range trip w/o it for 60 rounds and the next trip with it for 35 rounds before cleaning. I normally don't let them get really dirty so I've nothing to compare it to but I imagine it would take 400 rounds in noisy mode to get this dirty.
The superlative arms adjustable gas block was recommended to me so I looked it up. Interesting block, it vents to the outside rather than restricting the gas. Unfortunately, I'm limited to the parts I already have because of the ban here. Oh well, it's for the children so I should be happy

Wife had a family emergency up here in Canada so we drove up.

In Toronto, very rude assholes when they find out we are American & the wife was actually verbally attacked for marrying a American and so on so forth

It’s filthy, druggies, trash, just looks like a inner city garbage dump

The further west we went, the nicer and polite people were as well as cleaner

In Saskatchewan now…..people have been nice and friendly

The news is constantly saying how Trump’s tariffs are attacking Canada. How trust with the states has been violated and will take decades to repair if ever

How tariffs are paid by the American & not Canada & in 5 years this will be proven to be a boom as Canada is buying Canadian and building Canada instead of importing from the states

It’s like Trump is a Canadian politician as wound up Canada is….the PM ran on a anti Trump platform and he lies to the people so he looks good Doug Ford is constantly attacking the states and Trump turn off the electricity to the states, see how Trump likes that

Stop selling Canadian oil to the states, they will run out of oil then and on and on

Gas was $1.85/9 a liter out east & we paid $163/9 liter today

I was told they pay .50 cents per liter federal tax, then .17 cents a liter provincial tax & then you have local taxes of a few cents

Canadians we have talked to don’t understand how little Americans care about Canada as it’s nothing down south like it is up here

Oh and some bridge opening really has Canadians would up as Trump…but I don’t remember what and why

I’ve never seen such a huge rift between Canada and the states it’s all I see on the news, tons of anti American propaganda and down right lies constantly repeating over and over
Carney will save Canada & when I show this, I get called a liar
Whisk an egg with a spoonful of mayo until it gets a little fluffy. Put that and a pat of butter into a ramekin or bowl and microwave on high about 35 seconds. I used 2 eggs and a heaping soup spoon of may and put it in for 75 seconds. I mixed dried chives because that's all I had handy, but maybe some green chilies and cheese next time.

Low pressure with very sooty necks. Then things went south, nothing under 1". I brought my arbor press, Harrel measure, and wilson seating die. Loaded more at 29.3 and they weren't much good either. Decided to try it with the suppressor and discovered the thread protector was about 1 turn from finger tight. Hmm, no wonder it wouldn't shoot.
Usually it's the nut behind the trigger but it turned out to be the one at the muzzle. Well, I guess the nut behind the trigger should've check it.

2-100 yard ranges, 2-50 yard ranges and 2-25 yard ranges

Plus steel bobber range for handguns with tangible ammo, a simulation range with over 2k different scenarios or different scenes, any handgun with your own ammo or a specialty gun that only makes noise and recoils like the real deal

You birth month you get 25rd of 45/70 and a gargling gun…monthly free rentals of house guns, some full auto (house ammo only)

You can book lanes on line, any open range

Membership was 50% off, so it’s $200 a year, $45 a month, 12 free guest passes & then only $10 a pass as many as I want
A huge gunshop, in house gunsmith, training classes monthly as well as matches & all kinds of crap
Hopefully my goal is shooting once or twice a week. Both rifles/shotguns & handguns
Talked a brother from another mother into joining also….as his wife wants to do more shooting & loves the climate controlled range vs the 100* it was today
After double checking things I find QL shows that bullet as being .88" long, not the 1.05 it really is. Adjusted seating depth to correct and it quickly went way over saami max pressures. Not a big deal in a bolt gun, but way too high for the ar15.
