Alphie - Our Forum Helper!

You guys know Alphie is a username that I created to handle RSS news feed and stuff but that was pretty much the extent of what he could do...until now!  

I gave Alphie an Ai brain so now you can talk to him from his chat window at the bottom right corner of any page!  You can ask him pretty much anything but he is particularly helpful with forum questions like where is the Field Manual or find discussions on M1 Rifles...etc.

He is still learning the ropes so give him a little time to get up to speed.  If a reply is not what you expected, click the 'not helpful' link so I can fix bad results!

I’ve given up on the site, always having to remember to shut off the vpn or I get booted and then these changes

I can’t figure out where to start, I’m on my iPhone and trying to navigate is a real pain

It took several tries before I remembered to turn off the vpn & this is what happens just before it kicked me out

We can switch you back to the old theme if you like?  There shouldn't be any issues with VPN's unless you are routing through a combloc country that may have been blocked by the servers?  Let me know whats up and we'll get you fixed up!  It's only computers...we are smarter than them, LOL!

I can set the old theme to be your choice...it wouldn't affect everyone, just you.  You can actually do it yourself and switch between old and new when ever you want...the switcher is at the bottom of every page.  AlphaRomeo15 is the old theme and Locked and Loaded is the new theme.  You can switch back and forth or leave it on the old one!

I'm not sure what is up with the VPN...there is nothing on the forum that should effect VPN's at all...

Besides...down time is when you need the forum the most!
