Biden quits the race for POTUS

Can't say I am surprised. You can be sure his staff is busy drafting pardons for himself and his entire family for "any crime they may have committed". I don't believe that will stand up in court unless they name the crimes.

He endorsed kamala and you can be sure all she has as an argument to Trump in a debate is that he is a racist and misogynist. I don't think that will fly at all. She couldn't even get enough support in the primary to make it to the first state. 

I see Trump in a landslide.

There quite a few calling for an open convention rather than annointing Kamala. Given the amount of hatred on the left anyone but Biden stands a chance of coming close enough to make cheating a real threat.

Only kamala has access to the campaign funds in the biden campaign. If the pick another candidate that money goes away. Unless of course kamala picks a veep and then steps out of the race, then the veep candidate has access to that money.

My guess is that a large part of the convincing done, if there was any convincing at all and this wasn't just a coup, went something like..... "We just put a bullet through Trump's ear, and you don't move near as fast or as much as Trump and if you get zapped in office, there goes the pardons for your entire familu".
