Do you know what this is, it is clearing up issues with LEOSA that was passed into law back in 1990

It gives law enforcement officers the same rights as someone with a state permit, along with removing magazines cartridge limits and a few other tweaks 

right now my state issue carry permit authorizes me more better carry in something like 32 states than LEOSA 

Yes it gives off duty cops and retirees the legal authority to carry concealed in all 50 state’s & territories but that dates back to when it was first voted into law 

Oh and it changes the mandatory qualification time line out to 3 years potentially

I’d love to see this law extended across the board to everyone with a CCP and then watch them fail the qualification 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

I look forward to the qualification, as it gives me a chance to visit with the few I still know and recognize. Also a chance to meet the young pups who are replacing us codgers.

I don't recall anything in the 2A that requires me to "qualify" to anyone in order to bear my arms.

A "well regulated" militia is one that trains (qualifies) regularly. Training is an integral part of 2A. The "black robed regiment" was led by preachers who wore their black robes over their militia uniforms in the pulpit. After the sermon, they led their congregations in training while the ladies of the congregations made lunch. And yes, they did that every Sunday.

I look forward to the qualification, as it gives me a chance to visit with the few I still know and recognize. Also a chance to meet the young pups who are replacing us codgers.

Since I’m a red headed step child and a “guest” at the annual qualifier & since it’s scheduled after we leave for vacation, I’m not going to be able to qualify this year. They only make exceptions for people who retired from the department 

plus it’s a gravel range and I’m not walking very good on gravel…..

School carry here for anyone with a CCP is legal

just cuz training/qualification is not spelled out does not mean it was not important 

and like I said, I’d love to see everyone with a CCP have the same carry “rights” across the country

They were training on their own, not because the government required it before they could have permission to exercise their GOD given rights. They were already bearing their arms before they ever went to that training. And it wasn't the government conducting that training that you cited. Big difference.
