Moab……Wildfire and Ugh……..

Went to Moab & had reservations at North Rim Grand Canyon lodge, so it burnt to the ground….

Moab was high 90’s, hot a blazes and the AC could hardly keep up. Then the wildfire smoke moved in and really restricted visibility and ohhhh it stunk

Golly then the truck threw a code…..Ford dealership could not pull a cod, ORilleys could not pull a code

And then the passenger door electric lock stopped locking/unlocking

Could not figure out what’s wrong with the truck

Had extended a couple days in Moab and made reservations in Monument Valley to see John Wayne’s movie locations and made reservations in Kanaub UT at a old school hotel where lots of movie stars stayed when filming

Truck was running rougher, idled wonky and nobody knew why

So we canceled all the hotels & went home

Kanab UT had a 72 hour cancellation policy and said we canceled 2 hours after the 72 was up. So we canceled 70 hours before check in so tough luck

Had record of calling with time stamped e-mails…. Just got it refunded thru the CC company was the hotel absolutely refused to budge

Ford dealership we got the truck at fixed it under warranty (door latch) saying nothing wrong with motor

They damaged the window Trump fixing the truck & absolutely refused to fix it while saying we owed $100 for fixing the truck under the extended warranty

It only costs $1k to fix the trim/molding and it’s not under the warranty

Told the manager they have lost us for life, will never purchase  other vehicle from them or go to the service department since they refuse to fix what they damaged

Sigh………Really need a beer….

Have an appointment for the truck the end of the month with a different shop to have new plugs & wires put in, have old wires with a history of cracking under high heat and fouling plugs while misfiring

That’s only $1K to use NGK plugs and OEM wires……🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮

Going to Billings Montana tomorrow…..

Really need a vacation but can’t afford it 🥵🥵
