Greasing a loader I broke a zerk, a very well protected one. Used a straight fluted extractor, drove it in too far and snapped it.
I was afraid I'd need a gorilla with a 20# hammer to get the 30mm diameter pin out of the bucket ram. This morning it moved with light taps from my 4# hammer. Local Kubota dealer doesn't have one in stock, so I'll have to wait a week to finish it.

Tommag's repair service, if it ain't broke I'll fix it til it is!

I too lucked out yesterday. Removing a manifold from an old but serviceable air compressor. Over an hour with everything I had. Only thing I was accomplishing was destroying the manifold wrench flats (and much of the remainder) with a pipe wrench. Brought the torch out, heated the threads well, ezpz.
