I had 2 tables at this weekend’s gun show. I had a pretty good show. I sold 5 long guns and 3 handguns.
At the end I was loading up the truck to go home. The parking lot at the fairgrounds is full of broken asphalt piles and holes. I was starting to load my cart in the bed of my truck when my right foot .found one of those holes. I landed first on my arthritic right thumb followed by my lower back and then my upper back.My right calf hit something because it has a charlie horse type pain. If that wasn’t enough, last night my throat got sore and I developed a fever that got to 102. So someone at the show gave me an early Christmas gift. I felt like crap all day and night Monday.My system killed the bug overnight.
Story of my life. It’s a good thing I’m tougher than I look.
