Pretty simple fare tonight. 1/2 a butternut squash baked with butter and brown sugar, a filet of rock fish (I think it's surf perch) I fried with some garlic butter.

We were out late yesterday so we picked up pizzas on the way home.

Terry
Same as last night. I usually cook enough for several meals and microwave the leftovers. In this case, only cooked enough for 2 meals.

Went to the world class Golden Corral weekend breakfast yesterday, got there late & managed 2 rds of breakfast when lunch took over so we got 1/3rd lunch 🤣🤣

Honestly it was quite a bit better than expected, other then the over cooked bacon that is 🤣🤣

Walked out of there at 11:45 yesterday and have not eaten till just now….was that full from all the meat I ate

I don't know what I did to deserve waffles for lunch, but I need to figure it out so I can do it more often!

Salmon patties!
The park office operates a food pantry, some stuff donated, most of it from tenants who've moved and left things behind. A couple months ago there was several cans of salmon, both pink and red that nobody took. I took 2 of each. Today there were a dozen cans of pink so I grabbed two.
Today I mixed a can with onion, salt, pepper, dill, bread crumbs, egg and onion. Fried with bacon grease. Dang that's good!

I know I used too many comma's but I also got a case of them. Big Grin

You used exactly the correct number of commas, so don't worry about it. There's more where those came from.

Love salmon patties. But they must include the crunchies. No crunchies, no patties for me.

I got spoiled with salmon where I used to live. My neighbor was a retired fisherman who repaired nets for the Indians. He provided me with kings at $1.25 a pound! I used to roast them whole in the stick burner and use leftovers for patties and salmon salad sandwiches.
