cottage bacon

First time I've seen this. Just enough fat, mostly meat, dang good!

Looks like it’s really wide, like extra wide, how thick is it???

I'd say 1/8" and 9 slices per lb. It's 2.5" wide.

Local market here has it for year. It's shoulder cut vs belly. Less fat. More like strips of ham. They have another name for it but I can't remember. I prefer the belly bacon.
