I was looking for some shotgun cards. Browsing on amazon to see if the prices there would be cheaper than midway or whatever after shipping, and came across these guys.

I was gonna get some Esstac 7 round cards, but I think I'm gonna need to get some of these just based on the name.

Sitting here trying to struggle my way through the hazmat online classes and remembered I need to tweak the extractor on my Springfield Emissary and figured that was something I could tinker with at my desk while I listen to these audio modules.

Popped the extractor out, tweaked it, wiped down the insides of the gun and started to reassemble it. I was having a little bit of trouble getting the firing in stop to go in all the way, and slid it back a little too far and sent the firing pin and spring flying off into the abyss never to be seen again. I know its in this house somewhere, but I can't find it. Im sure my wife will find it as soon as I order a replacement. I have a handful of extra power wolffe firing pin springs, so I'll only need to order the firing pin itself, but I may order a new Wilson extractor as well since I've been having issues with this one.

A BBQ joint in Hillyard (nearby suburb) had a homeless encampment spring up on the street outside her business. Business fell way off and her electric bill tripled. Turns out these urban campers carefully trenched her lawn and tied into her electricity. It seems the homeless community always craps in their own nest.
The local police cleaned things out and her business picked back up, so at least some good news there.

I'm not a tactical guy but an accuracy guy. Once I've achieved what I consider the pinnacle I tend to lose interest. I have a Remington 788 that shoots in the high 1s/low 2s. I've put together a few ar15s that shoot into the 2s and 3s. Man are those ar15s easy to work on, just quality barrels and slightly undersized uppers and a little thermo fitting along with good triggers.
A friend issued me a challenge, build a very accurate ak47. Boy, that'd be fun but since Washington went full commie I can't buy components for any semi auto rifles here.
If I won a lottery and moved to a free state like Montana I'd be all over that challenge. I wonder how long it'd take me to make an ak into a credible bench rest rifle? I would really enjoy that project.
It's just a fantasy, and I don't know if I could blow out the case enough to qualify for hunter bench rest but it'd be so cool to win or even place in a bench rest match with the ugly old ak47.  I know what it felt like to turn in respectable aggs with my ar15s. The guys were amazed at what I could do there.

This is the only full auto weapon I've ever fired (department owned) except for a malfunctioning model 60 which I fixed.
That 180 was a hoot, the rate of fire was so high that it was almost a hum rather than a pop pop pop. It was so controllable cutting down a small tree was easy.  Wikipedia says 177 round capacity but my memory tells me it was more like 350 rounds. It took a long time t o load the magazine. If I screwed up loading the mag it would spit them out and I had to start over.
If I won a big lottery I'd buy one.

It appears President Trump is going to form a department of government efficiency with Elon Musk and Vivek at the helm. Sounds like a good start to me!

Spirits Review #54: Leadslinger’s - Bourbon Whiskey!

Bottom Line: Sweet corn on the nose with light tingle. Sweet corn and fruit flavors with light burn. A light hint of rye. Very smooth. 4 Thumbs up!

So I'm watching Brandon Kavenaugh tonight and I find this video. Normally he does hardcore boogie woogie but not this time. The little girl he has playing and singing with him put a heck of a smile on my face.
