Oh Canada

on the old site we had a cool dude who lived in Canada with a nice collection of firearms

Canada has mandated everyone turn in their firearms to the government or else

REPORT: Canada has given citizens one year to surrender their firearms, calling it a “voluntary” buyback. But the reality is clear—by October 2026, anyone who refuses will face criminal charges.

Officials claim no one is being forced, yet once the deadline passes, simply keeping your own property will make you a criminal. That isn’t voluntary—it’s mandatory thinly disguised as choice.

History leaves no room for doubt. The British disarmed the colonies before the Revolution. The Ottomans before the Armenian genocide. The Soviets and Cambodians before mass killings. Even Australia, long praised as a model, later sent soldiers into the streets during COVID—dragging citizens into quarantine camps against their will.

The warning is unmistakable: when governments disarm the people, freedom does not survive. The question now is whether Canadians will defend their rights—or watch history repeat itself on their own soil.

Looks like we get to find out if the free men in Canada outnumber the slaves. We'll get to find out the same thing here soon.

I remember the Canadian failed attempt to register all long arms (I thought they already were) due to quiet noncompliance. The federal government gave up on that idea. I also remember during evacuations in Alberta because of fires the rcmp broke into vacant homes and took all firearms found, probably just for safekeeping (yeah, that's the ticket, yeah). For some reason, safekeeping turned into destruction of those firearms.
I had to look up this current scheme and what I learned was disturbing, to say the least. Not only does it include our favorite platforms but many pump action and bolt actions. On the bright side, even the Ontario provincial police are saying Hell No!
Here's an article from the nra-ila that's pretty good. https://www.nraila.org/articles/20250922...-confusion
