Look closely at the video. Keep in mind it's IR spectrum. Hot is white cool is black. At the stern you will see a fuzzy gray mass. It's on the helo deck. When the torpedo goes off that mass is flung into the air, some goes higher than the mast, 80-100 feet. As the mass goes up it breaks into separate pieces. Look closely at the bits. You can then see arms and legs flailing. Yep, some of the crew was doing morning formation right above where the torpedo "hit". Poor bastages.
