I was under the impression that color was the determining factor, I now see I was wrong.
Streamlight doesn't seem to provide the laser power class or output on their website.
It looks like 5mw is the limit, I wonder what the power is on those cheap laser igniters/cutters things I see advertised occasionally on YouTube?
Speedy, thanks for your insight, maybe lasers won't fit the bill for me.
Rampy, you're right, the holosun is kinda spendy! I've a couple of their red dot sights and they work well.
