Actually the VA sends all its meds via USPS and if you go to the hospital pharmacy you only get a partial fill
The government is cutting costs by reducing all meds carried at the VA hospital & have several different pharmacies that do mail order and yep it’s for everything that is not needed currently or prescribed in the ER
The military is also doing that and Tricare also wants you to do mail order meds
My provider changed my dosage for a neuropathy medication and it’s non formality so the hospital does not carry it at all….4 days after the prescription change I had it in hand
That’s all about saving money while the post office spends like a drunken sailor
Here all mail no goes to Billings or Denver & then sent to different posts offices to be distributed and
