It's going to be 23 tonight which means, without my heat pump, it'll be about 37 - 40 in the house. I'll be sleeping on my living room couch with the cats so Ii can run the space heater to keep it warm enough for them. I'll let y'all know if I survive.

Those hide a beds suck! Glad you made it through the night ok.
I had to replace the high temperature safety switch on my propane furnace 2 days ago. Time to order a couple more spares, I'm down to 1 spare now and they go bad at least once a year or so.

Good morning! 26 here with light snow/frizzle headed this way. High today of 35, so some may or may not stick. Tonight looks like we get ice, and I just found out my generator is not working right. Only one leg of 240 output is working.

22 Last night and 27 right now. And now our microwave just crapped out. It was working perfectly yesterday and now it’s not. Set the time to heat and start, shuts off after 1 second. Another expense I don’t need right now.

Pretty quiet here today, no posts. Currently 31° headed for an overnight low of 28°.
While I didn't do any heavy work during the tower party, I still had a lot more physical activity Saturday than normal. I was sore but I slept 7 hours Saturday night and 6 hours Sunday night as well as a 3 hour nap Monday. It's been a long time since I've slept that much. I feel great! I guess I need to be more active than I've been. |
