Had a Blackhawk fly over just a little while ago and then fly back. That isn't unusual, they do it all the time. They go to the little airport here and fly the pattern, sometimes for hours. But when I zoomed out there were a total of 6 operating over Illinois. For reference that is the entire National Guard fleet in Illinois. They all seem to be flying patterns around small airports. And then I zoomed out further and they are everywhere. From Texas to Minnesota and Florida to Maine, every state has multiple military helicopters flying. Not just Blackhawks either, Apache's, Chinooks, Super Stallions. Hundreds of them. Did the military just get funding for night helicopter training after a long break? The only states without military helicopters are Montana, Wyoming and Colorado which currently have high wind warnings. 70mph in Montana, so that is understandable.
I've watched ADSB a lot and have never seen this many military helicopters out and about even during the day.
Something is cooking, I can feel it.
