Nashville a Bon Mi sammich and a Jonathan Waxmans restaurant named after his mom with a weekend brunch

The brunch was beyond exquisite, I can’t begin to say how insane the buffet is and it’s dirt cheap for what you get

We went to Nashville cuz the wife wanted to see the Grand Ol Opry and Randy Bachman of BTO was playing his first ever Opry and it was fantastic. We will go back again only plan it better as this was an impromptu trip

The buffet was right in the kitchen, you watched the chefs put fresh food on the line depending on how many people were in line so it was always fresh and hot

Have never seen a buffet like this, the food was a destination restaurant it was so good

But it’s a Waxman restaurant

That is pretty cool!  I ate at an Amish family Restaurant once and it was similar except they piled all the food on your table and you passed the bowls around like you were at your home table.  You were seated with other strangers as well, which was meh...I'm not much of a meet new people kinda guy, but it was alright. No worse than a Japanese Hibachi!

I guess I'm behind the times, I never would've associated Randy Bachman with the grand old opry.

ohhhhh it was heavenly

then dinner somewhere where we stopped for the night
