Yes, I think I will swap the buddy list button with the Mark Forums Read button!  Good idea!!

If we go with this as default..the current theme will still be available in the menu!  Always good to have options!

I hate it!!! Why can't we keep things simple like we had it? This is confusing. What does this new format do for us that we couldn't do before that we actually needed to do?
A little prior warning would have been nice. I thought we had been hacked!

I had to make it default for some testing but you can always switch back to the old version theme.  The old theme is kinda old!  It doesn't work well with mobile devices and requires a lot of work to maintain it with software security version updates and PHP upgrades happening almost weekly anymore...sometimes things just quit working.  So I try to keep up on modern code to limit breakdowns.  The old theme is also not standard forum layout which is harder to fix when it does break.  

I switched you back to the old theme light version...not sure if you were running the dark version or not.

Thank you! Light is what I use. I understand the need for change from time to time but this was so drastic it actually startled me!

It's all good brother!  Give it a try sometime...there is a light version of the new theme also!  It works much better on mobile devices as well!

It should be fixed now...you might have to clear your phone's browser cache or wait a little til it clears on it's own.  It should look like this now!

I flushed the server firewall cache so hopefully you guys can see the updated pages on mobile now!

I fixed a few random screens that were still squished up like search results and the photo gallery that no one has ever used but me, LOL!  

Let me know if anything else is broken...include a description and dark or light theme if you find anything weird!

That's cool!  Everyone can pick which ever one they like but if we keep this theme as default, it should help page rankings because it is much lighter, faster and built with all CSS!   The old themes are heavily customized (not by me) and kinda hard to work on because of they way it was built...all the templates are different than regular MYbb themes.  But no big deal...please pick which ever theme you like!

I have no fight or argument in this change. As everyone likes different things.
With that being said my phone does fine with the 0 dark - dark mode. It's easier to read than the new version.

It is pretty smooth!  I still have a few templates to fix on mobile but for the main part, I am really impressed with it!
