Hey Towtruck, I read that California has managed to run off a large percentage of trucks and it's killing agriculture. Any truth to that or is it mostly hype?

Since I retired from law enforcement I have been out of the loop but as a returning truck driver I have not heard of anything yet. All I know is the money hose has been turned off from the feds and the department cannot train new commercial inspectors.

We have a good amount of trucking companies in this state so time will tell if we still have enough.

I know 1 owner operator who is in the Long Beach area & was running day trips hauling food 

He is moving to Arizona and done with Kalif…something about how he is running an older Peterbilt of some kind he has totally customized. He was saying the crackdown on non English speaking “steering wheel holders” is going to kill kalif’s trucking

Evidently I'm not up on politics like I used to be, this is the first time I heard that term and had to look it up. Groypers are adherents to the extreme right and see fascism as an acceptable counter to the far left. I've always maintained that the pendulum swings back proportionally and given how far left it's swung I guess this shouldn't surprise me, but it does.

I've been called a right-winger but I've always been more of a conservative libertarian. This stuff scares me as much as communism does.
Wandering off into end-times prophecy, I've long maintained that the USA couldn't exist as it does today for the battle of armegeddon to take place with all the armys of the world against Israel.  Maybe that time is closer than I thought.
