Putting Lipstick on a Pig

The venerable railroad spike has been the source of many a blacksmithing project, mostly decorative but occasionally useful. As a knife, it lacks sufficient carbon to hold a good edge. That doesn't keep folks from making knives from it, though. I saw a YouTube video of a guy making a dagger out of one, and that inspired me to do likewise. As the title of this thread implies, lipstick on a pig. Not very useful, but interesting.
