Bongino said on FOX that the shooter had the rifle hidden in the backpack when he escaped. Unless that backpack was at least 4 feet long there's no way. We are witnessing another coverup in progress.

A screwdriver was found with it, so pull the action from the stock and it's easier to conceal. The video shows him with a large bag/bundle when he jumps down. However, it's hard to imagine pulling the action screws after shooting, maybe with a battery screwdriver?

So, while trying to escape he took the time to break down the rifle and then, while still trying to escape, took more time to put it back together, wrap it up and leave it in the woods for the cops to find?
