My budget is “retiring public school teacher”. My son wants to get cans for hunting (I shoot a 450 Bushmaster and he and his wife shoot a 350 Legend). My granddaughter is three, but when she starts hunting/shooting, they want to protect her ears.
There’s a multi-caliber can that looks interesting. Called a Bushwacker 46.

The price tag is steep (for me) at just under $1,000 I suppose it helps that it can be used with any caliber .17 - .45 but it’s still only on one gun at a time and I don’t know if an adapter for each gun/caliber costs a lot more.
Primary use? I suppose hunting. Secondary use is probably range time to protect young ears. And old ears. And middle ears, so they don’t become old ears.
(I mean don’t get me wrong- I voted DT and would again. He’s better on the 2A than ANY Dem times ten. But part of his impact is choosing an AG and SC Justice and I’m not very impressed with his picks.)
