I retired last year and immediately found part time work hauling equipment. It was tough getting back into real work even though it was not full time. I did not do much over the winter and my work moved south so my boss sent my truck south.
Then he recommended a part time job I could do and here I am at 60 years old rigging for a crane company. I drive truck hauling counter weights and then rig on the jobs.
Totally blindsided to the industry. I have worked under 275 and 110 ton cranes and I am currently in Oregon on a four day job. It’s supposed to be part time but that has yet to happen. My old body is protesting a bit like yours.
