Hah! We had a DELICIOUS lunch at Jethro’s BBQ in Altoona (Des Moines area). It was a pile of meat that I managed to get outside of, but I wasn’t hungry for a great while afterwards. We stopped at Bass Pro Shop (a very American thing to do) then went for BBQ.

Stupid me- I ALWAYS forget going I80 home from Des Moines that you cruise right past Brownells. By the time I see the building, it’s too late to exit. Not that I need to be tempting myself with any of the toys therein. But one of these times…
