![]() Won't be ready for a few weeks, but I'm trying something different for this batch of sauerkraut. I mixed red and green cabbage and added a pound or so of grated beets. Hopefully it'll be good.
Pork loin seasoned with sage-garlic salt-:paprika- thyme- onion powder. Filled the Dutch oven with carrots and put it in the oven. Boiled some potatoes and made gravy after removing the carrots and pork.
Turned out good, leftovers for the next 3 days.
Hoppin John. Black eyed peas, rice, ham hocks, etc. . Thawed some turnip greens but didn't get around to eating them tonight. Enough leftovers for 3 days or so, I'll probably make some cornbread tomorrow.
