He's had a successful hunt, including a cape buffalo. He's sent me some pictures and videos. Hopefully he'll tell us about it when he gets back. Cape buffalo was a childhood dream of mine.

You might want to rethink your pursuit of Cape Buffalo...

Yeah, I outgrew that dream. I used to be young and stupid. I'm older now.

The comments are disgusting. Typical of those sooo compassionate lefty anti hunters.

My friend from (Rhodesia) always says he believes Cape buffalo to be the most dangerous of the “big five”.

That said, he had a friend that was killed by an elephant. Apparently they checked and checked and the elephant was ‘dead’. So he went to take a picture. First the bull grabbed him with his trunk and pulled him onto his tusk. Then the bull stood up, pushed him off his tusk and trampled him- into oblivion. They found one intact boot with a foot in it, and the rest was just some greasy dirt and sand. The bull died for real a couple miles away. (Dave had hernia surgery and wasn’t on that particular hunt, much to his relief.)

Today’s lesson, boys and girls; never anger a bull elephant.
