What's for supper!

Dave and Lynn helped me by combining our yard sales. Unfortunately, the wind was cold and turnout was abysmal.
To say thanks I've got a pot of pinto beans with a ham shank in the crockpot. Lynn doesn't like greens so Dave and I will split the collards. A 12" cast iron skillet is in the oven full of cornbread made with buttermilk.We all like it sweet so I used a fair amount of sugar.

Sounds great. I can take my cornbread either way. My favorite is Mexican cornbread but I'm not picky.

Two weeks ago my neighbor brought some soup over. It was a fillipino soup called sinigang. Dang tasty, sort of a hot and sour soup. It uses tamarind for the sour part and lots of vegetables. Anyway, there's a pot simmering on the stove with pork, serranos, bok choy, string beans, onions, daikon, and way too many commas for one sentence.

Wyoming raise, slaughtered & butchered pork ribs on the pellet grill. Low and slow at 250 with a hourly spritz of Apple cider vinegar till done

Figured no time like the present to see how these ribs turn out, they are extremely meaty and hopefully turn out wonderful
