WASHINGTON, D.C. (June 27, 2025) – The American Suppressor Association, Gun Owners of America, Firearms Policy Coalition, Second Amendment Foundation, National Rifle Association, National Association of Sporting Good Wholesalers, and F.A.I.R. Trade Group strongly disagree with the weaponized procedural maneuvering used by the unelected parliamentarian to block the removal of suppressors and sort-barreled firearms from the NFA tax scheme in the One Big Beautiful Bill.

Today I attempted to remove an a2 butt stock and it's been on there too long, the screw attaching it to the buffer tube is REALLY ATTACHED! I'm guessing a little dis-similar metals corrosion. Even with a well fitting hollow ground screwdriver I slipped. No sense stripping the screw head, I applied some kroil and I'll try it in the morning. It's also been too long since I've messed with them, I started doubting myself when I couldn't get it apart, did I forget some technique? I watched Mr Potterfield on YouTube and I'm glad I did. I completely forgot about the little pin and spring in the back of the lower. I'll remember to be careful with that when I get the stock off.

[FPC News] FPC WIN: Federal Judge Rules California’s Non-Resident Carry Ban Uncons

SAN DIEGO (July 1, 2025) – This afternoon, Federal District Court Judge Cathy Ann Bencivengo issued an order granting final summary judgment to Firearms Policy Coalition (FPC) and its co-plaintiffs, three individual members of the organization who reside outside of California, in Hoffman v. Bonta, FPC’s Second Amendment challenge to the State’s ban on firearm carry by non-residents.

So, Senate Parliamentarian, RINOS, House version, Senate version, Public lands sale…
I guess I can wait until it gets signed, then everybody will be talking about it. I just want to know; are the NFA busters still in? SBR’s, suppressors…?
I just don’t want to pay the exorbitant prices PLUS another $200 AND another record the ATF has with my name on it… to buy or build a suppressor. I just want to save what’s left of my hearing. I just want my granddaughter to shoot without damaging her ears in the first place.
Does anybody know if cancelling the tax on suppressors and SBR’s is in the bill that passed? Will there still be a form to the ATF?
