It's 31 degrees at my house right now. My backyard chain link fence has a coating of ice on it. Weatherman is calling for freezing rain overnight. It's not supposed to be this damn cold down here!!!!!
I'm struck by some of the comments on other sites about the California fires. Bleep those rich people, they can afford it, etc. Yeah, maybe the super rich are going to be ok, but it's still a major disruption in their lives. Not all the fire damage was to tony neighborhoods, many folks who live paycheck to paycheck have been destroyed as well. A couple of us here have big (to them) problems as well. From the recent earthquake in Nepal to the fires in California, they're all in need of prayers. Never let envy keep you from praying for people.
